Description

AG260 is an industrial 5G NR cellular wireless gateway specifically designed for Industrial IoT applications. It is equipped with a high-performance and highly stable Qualcomm chip, providing IEEE standard 802.11axa 5GHz and 802.11axg 2.4GHz dual-band dual-stream capabilities, along with built-in GPS/GLONASS positioning functionality. The 5G NR signal strength is visualized for monitoring purposes.
To ensure AG260's safety and reliability in challenging environments, its structural design has been reinforced. It is built to withstand heat, moisture, prevent impact, and vibration. The device is suitable for a wide temperature range from -25°C to 70°C, making it applicable for extreme industrial environments. It complies with the EN 50155 railway standard and has passed EN 50121 railway electromagnetic compatibility testing standard. The detachable antenna allows flexible coverage for a variety of applications.
AG260 is part of the Z-COM cellular gateway series and can be managed by Z-COM WLCs, such as WS7G2, WS200G2, etc.

While 802.11ac utilized 256QAM, the latest Wi-Fi 6 employs an even higher 1024QAM. With denser carrier spacing, it accelerates speed and performance, significantly boosting both download and upload data rates. This advancement allows for immediate connectivity in industrial and automotive settings. Devices that support Wi-Fi 6E can be built at a lower cost, utilizing broader channels to achieve multi-gigabit speeds.
Suitable for remote monitoring environments
Ideal for applications such as factory automation, smart buses, fleets, aviation, and rail logistics transportation, it achieves low latency, stability, and efficient security measures for effective remote monitoring.
Zero Trust for Superior Security
Built upon the framework of Zero Trust in cybersecurity, it incorporates three core mechanisms: "Identity Authentication," "Device Authentication," and "Trust Inference." It continuously monitors user identities and behaviors, treating any data access as untrusted and requiring verification. Access permissions are granted only as necessary to users, ensuring devices are appropriately assessed for security permissions. This approach maintains the highest security levels for organizations and enterprises, preventing lateral movement and reducing the risk of user credential theft and phishing attacks through multiple authentication factors.

The AG260 provides the necessary parts for installation and features Plug-and-play and configuration free for celling installation.
Power Efficiency
The Target Wake-up Time (TWT) features to coordinate transmission times from different sources automatically and devices to sleep during the non-transmission periods and extend the battery life of devices which connects with APs.
Centralized Management Optional
AG260 in a centralized choices include zMEC (container-based) or Wireless LAN Controller solutions. Through Z-COM WLC that includes remote monitor, troubleshooting, and efficiency-optimized and enjoys simple management, configuration and monitoring of all access points. With zMEC, the platform for edge computing and PaaS, manages virtualized applications and import software by any x86 servers under different applications.
