The theme of Earth Day 2025, “Our Power, Our Planet,” calls for a global embrace of renewable energy, accelerating the transition towards sustainable power. The goal: to triple global renewable energy generation by 2030—keeping the Earth turning, and securing a future for the next generation.

Sustainability in Action Starts with Product Design

Z-COM believes that true innovation stems not only from technology, but also from responsibility toward the planet.

Our SP250-S5 outdoor wireless access point embodies our environmental commitment in both design and production:

•    Minimalist packaging to reduce resource use and waste

•    Significantly reduced plastic usage, aligning with the vision of “Planet over Plastics”

•    Advanced green manufacturing processes, including the integration of solar power in our production facilities to lower carbon emissions

These seemingly small design decisions are Z-COM’s concrete response to the call for “Our Power, Our Planet.”

Embracing Renewable Energy – Building the Future of Smart EMS

In 2025, Z-COM embarks on a new milestone with the development of its EMS (Energy Management System) project. Integrating our existing Wi-Fi 6, 5G NR, and edge computing technologies, this initiative aims to:

•    Improve energy efficiency

•    Enable real-time monitoring and anomaly prediction

•    Support the integration of renewable energy sources

This system is designed for broad application across industrial sites, remote communities, and smart cities—maximizing the impact of every kilowatt and easing the planet’s burden.
