Over three days at Booth #3B3-11, Z-COM's smart infrastructure platform for transportation, industrial, healthcare, and large-scale campus deployments generated significant interest from telcos, system integrators, healthcare organisations, and government agencies. The EMS Energy Management System and NEW Platform edge-native infrastructure architecture were the most widely discussed highlights.

SINGAPORE — Z-COM, INC. (TWSE: 8176) has concluded its participation in CommunicAsia 2026, held at Singapore EXPO from 20 to 22 May, marking the company's most significant brand initiative in Southeast Asia to date. Over the course of the three-day exhibition, Z-COM's smart infrastructure platform — designed for transportation, industrial, healthcare, and large-scale campus environments — drew more than forty organisations to Booth #3B3-11, representing telcos, system integrators, healthcare institutions, distributors, and enterprise technology buyers from the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, India, and the Middle East.

▌Visit from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Singapore

On the second day of the exhibition (21 May), Mr. Wu Wen-Chung, Counsellor and Head of the Economic Division at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Singapore, visited Z-COM's booth for a detailed briefing on the company's portfolio. The visit covered the EMS Smart Energy Management System, the NEW Platform edge-native infrastructure architecture, and Z-COM's wireless connectivity solutions for smart rail, industrial, and campus deployments.

The visit reflects the growing visibility of Taiwan's technology sector within Southeast Asia's infrastructure market, and provides further recognition of Z-COM's capabilities in carrier-grade wireless networking and edge computing.

"Engaging substantively with industry professionals from across Southeast Asia at CommunicAsia — one of Asia's most important telecommunications platforms — carries real significance for us," said Catherine Wu, CEO of Z-COM. "The response we received at this show reinforces our conviction that edge-native, cloud-optional infrastructure architecture is precisely what this market is moving toward."

▌Exhibition Highlights

Across the three-day exhibition, enquiries at the Z-COM booth centred on four areas:

•    EMS Smart Energy Management System — Generated strong interest from healthcare institutions in Singapore, distributors in the Philippines, and enterprise clients from the Middle East, with discussions covering platform capabilities, integration pathways, and potential collaboration.

•   NEW Platform — Edge-Native Infrastructure Architecture — Multiple system integrators enquired about platform specifications and deployment models, with particular interest in its ability to run AI inference and process data locally without dependency on public cloud infrastructure.

•    Wi-Fi 7 Connectivity (AS710) — Positioned as a foundational component of the NEW Platform ecosystem, the AS710 drew enquiries from SIs and communications equipment buyers across the region, with focus on its integration with Z-COM's edge-native architecture and centralised management capabilities.

•    Centralised Network Management — Several enterprises and SI partners explored Z-COM's management platform as a solution for large-scale distributed deployments, including multi-site wireless infrastructure operations.

Beyond the product discussions, Z-COM held substantive conversations with system integrators and potential regional partners from the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka, exploring partnership structures and go-to-market approaches for their respective markets. These discussions have been incorporated into the company's post-show follow-up plan.

A consistent theme across the exhibition was strong market interest in AI-assisted operations, local data processing, and infrastructure architectures that do not depend on public cloud connectivity — reflecting a broader shift in Southeast Asia toward greater operational autonomy and resilience at the network edge. This aligns directly with the design principles behind the NEW Platform, and validates Z-COM's strategic positioning in the region.

▌Next: Computex 2026

Building on the momentum established at CommunicAsia, Z-COM will exhibit at Computex 2026 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center (Booth K0327a, 2–5 June), where the company will formally introduce the NEW Platform edge-native infrastructure architecture to a global technology audience. The Computex showcase will also feature the AS710 Wi-Fi 7 access point — recipient of Taiwan's 2025 National Brand Yushan Award — and new AI Agent capabilities within the zEMS Energy Management System.
