Z-COM Introduces Edge-Native Infrastructure Architecture Across CommunicAsia and Computex 2026
Z-COM will present its Smart Infrastructure Connectivity Platform at CommunicAsia 2026 in Singapore (Booth #3B3-11, 20–22 May) and at Computex 2026 in Taipei (Booth K0327A, 2–5 June).
HSINCHU, TAIWAN — Z-COM (TWSE: 8176), a Taiwan-based wireless networking company with over 30 years of carrier-grade deployment experience, will participate in two of Asia's most significant technology events this May: CommunicAsia 2026 in Singapore and Computex 2026 in Taipei. Together, the two events mark the company's most significant regional brand initiative to date, introducing its Smart Infrastructure Connectivity Platform to Southeast Asia's telecom and infrastructure market, and to the broader global technology community.
▌CommunicAsia 2026 — Booth #3B3-11 · Singapore EXPO · 20–22 May
At CommunicAsia 2026, Z-COM will present its Smart Infrastructure Connectivity Platform under the theme "AI Infrastructure Starts at the Edge" — marking the company's formal positioning as a platform foundation provider for mission-critical wireless infrastructure across Southeast Asia, working with regional system integrators and partners to co-deliver end-to-end solutions.
The platform integrates carrier-grade wireless connectivity, centralised network management, edge computing, and conversational AI-assisted operations for smart rail, industrial, campus, and government deployments. It includes the NEW Platform edge computing architecture and the zEMS Energy Management System, featuring a multilingual generative AI assistant for conversational querying of operational and energy data.
"Connectivity has always been the foundation — but it is no longer the differentiator," said Catherine Wu, CEO at Z-COM. "What Southeast Asia's infrastructure projects demand today is a partner who can manage the network, process data at the edge, and run AI applications in environments where reliability is non-negotiable. That is precisely what we are demonstrating at CommunicAsia this year."
The platform has been validated across multiple real-world deployments, including a 5G smart transit POC at the Danhai Light Rail in Taiwan, smart campus and energy monitoring deployments across Asia. Z-COM has also deployed over one million carrier-grade Wi-Fi base stations across Asia and Europe, including landmark projects at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2010 Shanghai World Expo.
Z-COM is actively seeking SI and distribution partners across Southeast Asia. Interested organisations are welcome to connect at Booth #3B3-11.

▌Computex 2026 — Booth K0327A · Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center · 2–5 June
At Computex 2026, Z-COM will formally introduce the NEW Platform — Network Extension with Wired and Wireless — as a unified edge-native infrastructure architecture designed to move beyond siloed, cloud-dependent systems, and toward a unified framework where connectivity, management, and AI applications converge into a single operational environment.
The Computex showcase will feature the AS710 Wi-Fi 7 access point — recipient of Taiwan's 2025 National Brand Yushan Award — demonstrated alongside the Cronus WLAN Controller, and new conversational AI capabilities in the zEMS Energy Management System.
"The NEW Platform represents a fundamental rethink of how infrastructure should be built — edge-native, modular, and built to run AI where the data actually lives," said Catherine Wu, CEO. "Computex is where we introduce that vision to the world."
