Z-COM participated in the 2024 Smart Rail Seminar and Exhibition, which took place on October 15, 2024, at the NTU Hospital International Convention Center. The event, hosted by a&s and guided by the Railway Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, focused on enhancing resilience and smart applications in rail systems. The seminar brought together industry leaders to discuss the integration of cutting-edge technologies, including 5G and information communication technologies, to improve the operational efficiency and safety of rail systems.
Z-COM's presentation took place from 2:10 to 2:40 PM on October 15, with Mr. Xu Liangshu, Manager at Z-COM, delivering a speech on "GenAI + 5G Wi-Fi Heterogeneous Network Applications for Light Rail Driver Assistance Systems." The presentation highlighted how Z-COM leverages generative AI and the latest 5G NR and Wi-Fi heterogeneous network technology for real-time information transmission, aiding both light rail drivers and control centers in better managing road conditions to enhance driving performance and safety.

During the presentation, Z-COM showcased key technologies from its previous 5G smart traffic project. These included pantograph spark and wear detection, intersection foreign object detection, and how AI-powered models autonomously learn to improve detection accuracy, ultimately enhancing train operation safety. Additionally, Z-COM introduced its AI-generated firewall technology, ensuring robust data security during transmission, safeguarding information and privacy.
The exhibition centered on the application of 5G and AI technologies to strengthen the intelligence of rail systems, enhance operational efficiency, improve safety monitoring, and optimize passenger experience. Z-COM remains committed to delivering cutting-edge technological solutions that drive the future of smarter, more sustainable rail transportation.
